Webcam My webcam was working just fine for the longest time and then I had unplugged it for 2 days. When I went to plug it back in to the USB port nothing happened, its just not registering on my computer. I tried all of the USB ports on my tower and its not working at all.

I'm having a difficult time loading my logitech web cam. What would be the easiest way to download it without me getting frustrated?

Don't use the disk that came with the webcam, instead, if it's plug-n-play, allow Windows to install it's own drivers. Unplug the webcam, then plug it back into the usb port, then reboot.

Hope this helps. :)

Camera is not found or is being used by other application

Even if your computer is fine and the webcam software is installed, you can still get this message if you move from one application to another without re-booting the webcam software
The easiest way to do that is to unplug it from the USB port for a couple of seconds and plug it back in

Cant connect to lifecam

There may be a clash between lifecam and MSN. close MSN and alll other IMs. uninstall lifecam. restart the PC, install webcam SW with the cam unplugged. After installation plug the cam ina USB port and let Windows read the drivers and install the cam, Once that is done, now you can configure the cam in your IMs one by one.

Pc wont detect camera

Most of those driver CDs only work if you plug the camera in after the CD is done. So since you've already ran the CD, try just unplugging it and plug it back in and wait a sec for Windows to find it. If that doesn't work, try a different USB port (assuming it's USB). I have seen USB ports just go bad, and their neighbor works just fine.

Not connectingmy webcam

Uninstall any driver for webcam and unplug webcam
1) reinstall drivers make sure they are for your operating system
2) when driver installed it should come up with a screen asking you to plug camera in. if not reboot when drivers installed and then plug camera in then it should be found and installed . this method works most of the time any USB device should not be plugged in until drivers installed

Webcam not working

Hi, There might have been a CD installer that came with your camera. Sometimes it is required that you install the CD first before plugging the cam. You have to check closely the instructions. If you have not CD, perhaps you can try auto install when :New Hardware Found" dialog comes out. Also I notice that changing USB ports install the camera many times over. I would suggest you connect it permanently to one selected port. Good luck and hope this works out for you.
