How to reassemble after cleaning

I've cleaned the machine and now I can't put the filter in . I thought it was because I had put the rubber ring in wrong but no, it just doesn't go in. Help. joan

SOURCE: Brand new machine and the pressure gauge

It could be a faulty machine, what is your grind setting? Make sure your using the dual wall single cup as a test. Set the grind to around 13 and grind your own beans, don't use supermarket bought beans or preground coffee. Both are garbage.
Also if your using the dual wall basket, make sure that you leave the dial guage in the dual wall setting. Then tamp the coffee so it sits roughly 3-5mm below the rim, this is what I have found is best for this unit.
Then secure group head in to unit, press single cup and you should hopefully get a pressure reading, if it isn't going up you are under extracting and your grind is prob to coarse (correct me if I'm wrong), I've found 13 is not to coarse not to fine. Shouldn't feel like fine sand, when coarse but not powdery.
If the gauge does not move in to the grey area your unit is most likely faulty.

SOURCE: I have a Breville Fresca

Turn your machine off, then push and hold the 1 and 2 cup buttons and then while still holding them push and hold the power button. Wait until the clean cycle begins.

Samsung WF7700N6W1 washing machine not draining

Could be a sock or something between the 2 drums that moves over the outlet hole from the drum when upright and trying to drain but moves away when machine is on its side. Get a flashlight and look through the holes in the inner drum and you may find the culprit.
A coin may also be stuck in by the pump blade, not always easy to see but worth a look.

Clear rubber hose is off machine-what does it do? I've lost the owner's manual and cannot remember how to use the electric washer. Does that short clear rubber hose with a fine filter on one end...

The clear hose with a filter on the end is a cleaning solution pick-up tube. It attaches to the washer near where the pressure hose attaches to the machine. There is ususally a barbed hose fitting for it to slip over. If you are using the black, low pressure, soap tip the hose will allow the machine to pick up cleaning solution either from a bucket or straight from the bottle, mix it in the water and spray it out on whatever you are cleaning. It will not work if you have one of the high pressure tips on the wand. They are usually red, yellow, white or green.

Hotpoint WD 640. The machine is not fully draining after washing or drying. Any help?

The reason for this is almost certainly because the empty pump filter is partially blocked. Unfortunately, our loving friends at Hotpoint put the filter UNDER the drum and it can only be got to by drgging the machine out and attacking from the rear. The filter is the size of a large coffee mug, covered in rubber, directly below the cetre of the drum and held in place by a large jubilee clip. Remove the clip, pull off the rubber boot and inside is a white conical "pot" with a ping pong ball in it. You will probably find lint, coins and junk inside. Clean, replace the ball, reassemble. All should be ok

I have to have the choke all the way on in order for my bike to run, an when i do get it started it back fires an like its starving for gas, we didnt ride it much last year, went to put it away last season...

Did you clean the air filter ?. The bike will miss like hell if it is starved for oxygen.
The Air filter is normally a sealed box with a curved air intake and a rubber hose connected to the carburetor. Open the box and clean the sponge filter with petrol and squeeze it dry before reassembling. If you have access to 2T engine oil dip the sponge in it and squeeze dry before reassembling.Back firing does not indicate starving for fuel .

Bosch WF2001 washes only 30 degrees programmes

We had this problem and it turned out in our case that the hot water inlet filter was blocked. The pump wasn't receiving any hot water into the machine so wouldn't start on anything except a cold (30degree) wash.

We turned off the the hot water tap on the plumbing at the back, disconnected the inlet pipe from the machine, then put the end of the pipe in a bucket and turned the water back on, and saw loads of sediment spurted out.

We ran it until we'd filled the bucket, then turned the tap off, emptied the bucket down the drain, then disconnected the hose from the plumbing and cleaned the hose separately (there's a gauze at the plumbing end of the hose so make sure that's clean).

Then get some pliers and where the hose attatches to the machine there's a filter that you can pull out. Clean this out. In our case this was completely blocked with limescale sediment etc.

Reconnect everything, check it's all tightly fastened etc. then turn the tap on the plumbing back on - turn it on to a hot wash, press start ...and in our case it all worked a dream again.

All this info is in the manual if you've got one, but I thought I'd write it out in case you've got this problem and don't have the manual.

Ahhhhh... cleeean washing again! Hope this works for you. Happy go laundry!
