Robinair model 34288 will not stop recovering

what is the pressure reading on your guages? if it is below 0 if so the vacuum pump should kick on. if the vacuum pump keeps turning on and off check the software version on the machine if it is not 3.09 or 3.11 the software needs updated contact your local robinair service center. if it is not the software then the recovery solenoid may be sticking closed and will need replaced.

Air con has been topped up to pressure blows hot ok but is not cooling on cold only a slight improvement after topping up

Is compressor clicking on and off?
If its not here is alist of items to check out:
-pressure switches
-compressor
-on/off switch
-a/c relay,
-cooling fan relay
-cooling fan
-control head
Remember there is no such thing as just topping off. The refrigerant doesn't evaporate. It is in an enclosed system air tight always under some pressure whether on or off.
So if someone told you that you were low on refrigerant what they should have explained this to you. Basically you may have a leak.
If you have a set of R134A manifold gauges put them on and ckeck for refrigerant being present in the system. If your below 50 psi on high side you probably have a leak. Checking for leaks on a 2003 is not so bad .First try looking for oil spots on the refrigerant line . If that doesn't work then bring the vehicle to a repair shop. they have the proper equiptment to do this. If you do find the leak via oil spots you have to recover the refrigerant thats in the system with a recovery machine first. Then replace the o-ring at the connection that was leaking or remove/ replace the item that was leaking.
Your gonna need a vacuum pump or recovery machine for the next part. Pull a vacuum on the entire system for 20 minutes then shut off the system and check for leaks. If manifold gauge on recovery machine doesn't move within five minutes you can recharge the system. Good luck

Wont recover

Please Check the following:1# Press recover & fix a vacuum gauge on your machin Compressor suction port & monito the gauge is going up to13"HG suction,if not then you may need to replace the compressor.2# Check spin on-filter weight(total amount of refrigerant you have been recover since last filter changr,Max.filter Capacity is 68KG/150LBS) if it's more then max.cap. replace the spin on-filter.3# Check low side clearing sensor (Vacuum sensor) for proper operation.4# Also you can try to reset (clockwise & counter clockwise) automatic expension valve for any block of refrigerent flow.

Robinair model 347002k has a problem with leaving a half pound in the vehicle after recovery. i have to recover again sometimes two or three times. what could be the problem. also the display says replace...

Please change your machine spin-on filter & vacuum pump oil immediately, becaus you already exceed maximum limit of filte.( NOTE:max.cap.of filter is 150 lbs ) if you keep using machine without changing filter then compressor will get damage at any time. Recovery is not compleating also because of that & do not skip clearing before any recovery.hope this will 100% solve problem.
