Question about Technics Audio Players & Recorders

Open Question

Hooking up my Technics SA-g76 amp to my tv.

Does anyone know if I can hook my Technics sa-g76 amp to my tv? I have a Hisense 52" flat screen. IF this is something I can do, does anyone know how to go about it? I have searched a few places with no luck. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

SOURCE: Technics SA DA20

I have a Technics SA DA20 control receiver. I was given it by an electronics workshop and it has this same error of OVERLOAD coming into the display when switched on. I removed the plates from underneath and re-soldered as far as I could all the points along the stereo amplifier ICs and as far as access would allow. The unit then worked normally for several hours. I was very pleased, and went out shopping!. But on my return after it had been off for about an hour, the same problem has come back. But my boss at the electornics workshop thinks it it just a dry joint, or series of dry joints. The unit is complex to dismantle, so patience and care is required in taking it apart and making a note or diagram of how it comes to pieces and how to re-assemble it after the board has been re-soldered. It does not appear to be a component problem or fault with the SVI power amplifier ICs.

Can you have just 2 channel by hooking up to right & left front speaker posts on 5.1 surround

short answer.....no. If you hook more than one speaker up to a single channel, it will lower the impedence and will damage the amp. You can hook up multiple speakers by using a speaker switch box between the speakers and the amp. This will match the impedence and should keep the amp from blowing.

In-adequate User's Manual

That connector passes through your full audio to a compatible receiver.
Unfortunately your SA-EX 310 does not have a coax digital input.
Most new receiver do so if you buy a new one you should be all set.

Dish Network Box, Technics Receiver, RCA LCD TV connections

I would use the s-video out & red & white rca audio out on dish box to s- video & audio in on the t.v., then audio out from t.v.(RCA, red & white) to one of the inputs (RCA) on the receiver.

Wild guess. Is the TV volume turned down and its output set to variable instead of fixed?

SA-AX720 no subwoofer signal?

THIS UNIT HAS NO SUB WOOFER AMP IN IT. THE ONLY WAY TO OVER COME THIS IS TO HOOK THE LEFT AND RIGHT FRONT SPEAKERS STRAIGHT TO THE SUB WOOFER AND THEN GO FROM THE SUB WOOFER BACK TO THE INPUTS ON THE BACK OF THE UNIT FOR THE FRONT SPEAKERS. THE SUB WOOFER THIS WAY WILL EXTRACT THE BASS AND THE FRONT WILL RECEIVE THEIR PART. THIS SOUNDS CRAZY AS HELL I KNOW BUT THAT'S HOW I GOT MINE TO WORK. THE OUTPUT FOR THE SUBWOOFER IS USELESS AND PUT THERE FOR YOU TO HOOK UP AN AMP FOR A SUB WOOFER. EVERYTHING HAS SHORT COMINGS, AND THAT'S THE ONE FOR THE AX-720.
