When I installed my software, the choices were "Canada French" or "United States English". I chose US even though I live in Canada. Try reinstalling it and chose US instead.

Change language fr french to english!

Hi There,
The method used depends on the version of Windows you are running.

You can right click on the task bar (where the running programs are shown along with the start button) and choose Toolbars... ' Language Bar. The language bar will now be shown, and you can click this, choose settings ' Add... and choose English.

If the language bar option is not available, and you are running Windows XP, open control panel and choose "Options régionales et linguistiques". From here, choose the second tab and down at the bottom there is an option to change to English. It will ask you to logout (it may be in French) so click OK and when you log back in you should be set to English.
If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7, open control panel and choose "Options régionales et linguistiques". From here, choose the third tab and there is a button to install/uninstall languages.
Please post back if you have more questions.

My friend has an Acer laptop and when he put in the language he saw Canada listed and set his computer up in the French Language. Now he is Inuit and can only speak and read Inuktitut or English. How can...

Go to Google Translate and use it to translate from French to English. It is a translating application you can use to read the French setup on the computer. You'll need another computer to do the translation.

Logitech cordless desktop mx 3200 laser keyboard - french characters

Its not the keyboard fault but your operating system. I'm going to assume you live in Canada and when you had setup the computer for the first time you had selected Canada has country you live in instead of the United States (default) If you notice on your desktop or taskbar there will be a keyboard logo. Click it and select US 101 keyboard (United states). You get the french symbols because microsoft thinks because you live in Canada you must be french canadian.... stupid eh! They have it selected to mulitlingual Canadian. Select the US English as default and you shouldn't get those french symbols when you really want the shift or question mark key.

I live in Canada and I see looks of people who ask me the same question all the time.

Hope this helps!
