SOURCE: Moisture on bathroom exhause vent

the fan is pulling too many cfm (cubic feet per minute).you can replace the switch of the fan with a potentiometer type switch (this works like a light dimmer)you can reduce the speed of the fan,or you can use a couple of synthetic fiber filters to trap the condensation.good luck

SOURCE: Cooling fan Dell Dimension 3000

That is the correct way. It is a newer design that keeps the hot air from the CPU heatsink out of the case. 35C is a good temp.

SOURCE: Blowing hot air, compressor not kicking on, just fan ? ?

are you speaking of the outside fan or inside? compressor should be a little warm but not boiling hot. the unit could be low on freon. if low it will run a while but the compressor will overheat and shut off leaving the fan running by itself ouside. if nothing outside is running check power. if you have power check the contacted outside to make sure it's pulled in. contacters are bad about going out on goodman untis. Also ants can get under contacts.

SOURCE: Brand new Kenmore microwave fan does not **** up air

It's easier to notice air blowing out of something than it is to notice air being sucked into something. Put a pot of boiling water on the stove and see if the oven sucks up the steam from it. If it does, it's working fine.

Old NuTone 9093n Model replacement.?

Hi -- I just spent a couple of days taking out the old assembly, cleaning all the parts (layers of dust coats) and putting the 9093N back in order to fix the noisy fan. The cold air coming back in is from to the heating and I'd guess the heating element is busted. Yes, you can run it in both airflow modes: ceiling air exhaust and hot air blown to the floor. That said, the noise level on mine hasn't gone down. So I'll look for the replacement assembly. Good luck!

Should the bathroom fan light turn clockwise or counterclockwise

Which direction are the fan blade setup to exhaust the air out of the room? That is the direction it would spin, as this is not designed to pull air into the room.

Range hood motors, bathroom exhaust fan motors all share the same thing. They become coated with grime inside the shaft of the rmotor due to their exhaust feature of sucking dust and grime over the motor, which is open. The only solution is to get access to the motor and clean the fan blades and squirt a little WD-40 down the shaft as that is where the noise comes from. The dirt and grime build up on the motor shaft, and eventually starts rubbing the bushing where the shaft rest and makes a noise. Yo must remove this from the shaft and allow a little play, and lubrication which the WD-40 will supply.

It sounds like the fan blade may be installed upside down, or the entire motor/fan assembly is upside down. Typically, these small motors aren't reversible, so you should check the blade first.

New bathroom venting in basement bathroom.

Install a window mounted exhaust fan if you can discharge to the outside of the house surrounding atmosphere. But undercut the door of the batroom to allow air coming in into the room.Alternatively firt a door grill 600 x 150 mm size which is more expensive.THe size of the fan should be 50 to 100 l/s of air flow.

Blow back istead of suck out

This installation guide on the Jenn-Air web site does not provide electrical details, but there are two possible problems here.

1. - The fan could be installed backwards...or upside-down...so it moves air the wrong way

2. - The power wires might be connected incorrectly.

My best guess is that the fan uses a standard ac-powered motor, so the polarity of the wiring would not affect the direction it turns. If that is true, then the most likely problem is that the fan is installed incorrectly.

Good luck...and I hope this is helpful!!
