Replaced a leaking condenser coil and compressor on the model 795.72063.112 .however the unit is not cooling nor freezing .

I suspect that the humming noise is from a compressor motor that has liquid on top of the pistons and is in hydraulic lock
Why -- possibly adding liquid refrigerant and not gas
adding gas into the wrong side of the compressor
blocked high pressure line from the repair
time to call a technician in to help diagnose the problem

I have ice forming on copper line near compressor and there is a oily greasy substance on the compressor. What might be the problem?

the greasy dust is from a gas leak in the system and the oil is coming out with the gas
the ice forming on the pipe is the internal evaporation of the liquid gas
I suggest that a technician be called to repair the system

I have a Haier kegerator, just had someone put in freon beer is cold, but the line coming off the compressor that goes up into the cooler part is freezing up

this indicates that liquid is evaporating in the suction line to the compressor
that indicates that the unit has excessive gas and is not working as well as it should
have the gas checked by a professional refrigeration technician

Why does my A/C condenser compressor turn on and off every 5 minutes?

You need good airflow across the indoor coil, the evaporator. Air warms the refrigerant. If there is no airflow, the refrigerant will come back out freezing cold (in liquid form) and can damage the compressor valves. Before charging any ac unit, good airflow must be checked for across both evaporator and condensor.
Too much, overcharging will cause freezing all the way back to the compressor in a capilary tube type of ac.
Where is it the refrigeration lines are freezing cold?

ED2KHAXVQ01 clicking noise

Could be liquid refrigerant "flashing" in one of the lines near the compressor. Not so much a problem as an annoyance. There's a kit for it but it's risky - bend one of those lines too much and you'll solve the problem in a brand new way

All the coils on the unit outside froze up

Hello, if the inside fan was not running then the evaporator coil cannot absorb enough heat to vaporize the refrigerant, and the suction line will freeze including the compressor. Liquid refrigerat instead of vapor passes thru the suction line into the compressor. Lack of airflow or a low refrigerant charge is what will cause the line to freeze. In your case it was no airflow

Charge ac

The high pressure service port is located on the liquid line between the condenser and the evaporator, near the front of the engine compartment. The low pressure service port is located on the compressor manifold, directly over the suction port of the compressor. Make sure you know what your doing if you connect the wrong thing to the wrong port you can blow something up.

Hello I have a frigidare refrigerator Model #GLRS64ZEB7 that doesn't get cold. I cleaned the condensing coiled. I tried it and it still didn't work??? The compressor is running the suction line is getting...

Hi,

Unit is low on freon......

Many times a freezer and/or refrigerator do not work right because of a dirty condenser coil...there are also many other things that can go wrong.

If you are hearing a clicking or buzzing then check out the last two tips.

If your refrigerator is running but warm, then...

Check out these tips that I wrote about that... it is a great place to start trouble shooting your unit...and something that you can do rather then calling a repair person to do a simple thing for you...

Trying to recharge a/c . which is low side

the Low side of any air conditioning system is the line within the set with the largest circumference. In any system there is the small line and the larger line. The small line carries liquid refrigerant back to the expansion valve from the compressor. The compressor compresses vapor into liquid. The liquid is obviously the high side, and to recharge the system, you need to pull a vacuum to remove all air water contaminants and then recharge by hooking up the the refrigerant (oriented to release gas not liquid) to the larger of the two line sets, this would be the expanded gaseous refrigerant heading back to the compressor to be compressed and cooled to return to a liquid state.

AC freezes up after running two hours.

If it actually is freezing up,the low pressure switch is the likely cause. It is screwed into the large ac line near the firewall, witch is the cold line.If it is not there it is in the dryer, near the firewall,or under the air filter box.Follow the ac line(large ac line/hoses)from the ac compressor untill you come to the switch, that is the easy way to locate it.This low pressure switch causes the ac compressor to cycle on and odd according to the pressure sensed from the ac low side line. When it gets really cold the pressure is lowered, and there for it will cut off,and when the pressure rises,it cuts the ac compressor back on.It would be a really good idea to check the freon in the vehicle first. If the ac system is low on freon,it will freeze up on some vehicles.
