Question about Garden

Ryobi 30cc C430 ZRRY34420

I have a refurbished Ryobi string trimmer. Info on it is limited, though I have the instruction manual. Where is the spark plug located? Is it in the exhaust with the "spark arrester"? If so how do I get to it? I suspect it's oil clogged. Any suggestions as to preventing this situation in the future will be appreciated. Thank you.

Tha spark plug is located on the cylinder head 'generally on top' with a black rubber cap on the top of it. It will need to be unscrew to remove it.

Is the spark plug wire on my C430 4 cycle RYOBY string trimmer replaceable & if so, where can I get the part and how can it be removed?

The spark plug wire is part of the igniter assembly (ignition coil). Get the part either on ebay or a ryobi repair outlet.

Fuel mixture ratio for Ryobi SS300 weed eater

Are you sure about the model number? I see several 30CC engine string trimmers by Ryobi. Two are the Ryobi RY30040B (SS30) and a RY30544 (SS30).

For both of these models, mix a high quality 2-cycle engine oil at 2.6 oz. per gallon of gasoline to pour into the gas tank. This ratio is used in several other Ryobi string trimmer models. Many Ryobi product manuals are available here: https://www.ryobitools.com/power-tools/support/manuals . Most Ryobi gas powered and 40V battery-powered tools will have a model number that starts with RY. The 18 V battery powered models often start with a P.

I hope this helps. If you add a comment with the actual model number, I may be able to provide more information.
