The heating element may be burned out.
If you don't make sure the Lint pipe to the outside world is clear these elements over heat and burn out

DRYER OVERHEATING:

Heating Element
A defective heating element can make a dryer too hot or not heat at all. . If the element partially shorts out, it can produce heat all the time, regardless of whether the dryer is calling for heat. Remove the heating element to inspect it. The coils should not be touching each other or anything else.

Other Causes and Conditions
Air Flow Problem
Dryers need good ventilation to work properly. If the vent is clogged it can make the dryer too hot. Clean all of the vent tubing thoroughly.

Cycling Thermostat
Although not common, a defective cycling thermostat can make the dryer too hot. The cycling thermostat is supposed to turn on and off the heat to maintain the proper temperature. If the thermostat is defective it may keep the heat on too long. The thermostat is not adjustable or repairable, it must be replaced.

Felt Seal
Most dryers have a felt seal at the front and rear of the drum to keep the heat inside the drum. If the felt seal is worn away or missing, the dryer may keep heating and make the dryer too hot. This is not common.

Blower Wheel
A defective blower wheel will not spin properly and will not vent the hot air, making the dryer too hot. Check to see if there is adequate airflow out of the dryer.

Has it lost its seasoning? Look at any paperwork you may still have to find out how to re-season it and all should be well.

Hi,

I have an older dishwasher also and recently my wife also complained about it not cleaning right... so me being the man I am tried in vain to clean the things... Bought new spray arms online and installed them in minutes...now the thing works like new... However I have also found that if the heating element goes bad then that also can mess things up bad... So I would buy new spray arms, and also check out the heating element to make sure it is working... Here is a tip that will help you with the online buying...

Kitchenaid KUDS01FL -Dishwasher - "clean" light wont stop flashing; cant start a new load

Hi,

The clean light usually will blink due to a failure to heat the water properly. This dishwasher looks for a temperature rise of the water during a heating cycle if it fails to see this rise for multiple cycles it may shut down and blink the clean light.
There are a few things to check before resetting the control.
-The unit not being level so both door switches do not make contact
- The sump plugged up so water is not pumping across the heater (see sump clean out below)
- Not enough water filling the dishwasher
- The heat element is not working
To reset the control use this key dance within 5 seconds press: HEATED DRY, NORMAL, HEATED DRY, NORMAL
This will cause you to enter the diagnosis cycle once this is finished or you hit cancel the control should be unlocked and ready to use.

Thank you !

We replaced the pump in our dishwasher and it has the clean button flashing and wont turn on the machine

The clean light flashes if the water is not heating properly or the control thinks it is not heating properly. Here is a link to some instructions I put together on what to look for and how to reset it so you can use it. Since you replaced the pump recently I would look for a wire that came off to the heater or temperature sensor.

Let me know if you have questions or if this works for you.

HE4 propane dryer wont heat, how do I get the codes display?

Sounds like a clogged exhaust duct or vent. If not venting properly, most dryers will turn the heat off, for safety reasons.
Go for the easy fix first. Before removing your exhaust ducts from the dryer, look for any kinks that may cause blockage. Clean out the duct of any lint or water that may have accumulated. Check the vent on the outside of the house and make sure that its not clogged and opening properly.
