How can i remove the head from my trimer

There should be somewhere to stick a tool in to lock the shaft, then generally it removes in the opposite way it spins. Actually, note how it spins when you hold it, then flip it over and turn it in the same direction only it'll be upside down so if it spins clockwise when running, flip it over and turn it clockwise to remove it. It'll be pretty stuck on there most likely so be prepared for it to suddenly give and release.

Hoe does the automatic line feed work on a line trimer

Richard the auto line feed works by bumping the head when the strimmer is running. If it's wound right the line comes out when you tap the head on the ground when on full running.

Is it possible to fit a brush cutter head to a ryobi rbc30cet line trimmer

Is it a straight shaft? If so measure the inside of the blade and fit the arbor to your trimer.

Have a troy built TB575SS trimer. Pull cord has lost tension and cord is just fully hanging out. How do I I take unit apart to re-adjust cord tension?

The starter recoil spring may have possibly broke or the rope is hung up somewhere on or in the pulley. A lot of these units are assembled using Torx (Star) head screws and disassembly requires a couple different sizes to accomplish. Take your time...you will see the screw heads, but reloading a starter spring for a trimmer is a little tricky and you may need help doing so, but you can fix this yourself.

The motor works but the head does not spin

Either lawn material is binding the head to the base or the reduction gear is broken, stripped, or melted. The motor's steel gear or belt drives the plastic gear which drive the spool. If claning doesn't help, then there is no user repair. The parts are generally not consumer available.

HOW TO GET BRUSH CUTTER OFF FS 55

Look at the top of the head (where the brush cutter is) find the small hole about 3/16 diameter. Insert an allen wrench or a large nail, or anything else that will fit in the hole almost the same size as the hole. While putting a little downward pressure on this "tool" turn you blade slowly by hand until you feel the tool slide into the locking slot, this will hold the blade from turning. Keeping it in this position, take a socket and ratchet on the nut that is holding the blade and loosen and remove it. THE NUT HAS LEFT HAND THREADS SO TURN IT OPPOSITE OF WHAT YOU NORMALLY WOULD TO REMOVE IT!!!!

How do I change the Battery in My Norelco T3000 Beard Trimer

Remove Phillips head screw at bottom of trimmer. Separate body in two being careful to notice how on/off switch is assembled. Unsolder the ni-cad battery from circuit board. Install new ni-cad battery of the same physical size that has solder tabs on it and solder it to the circuit board. I used a ni-hi (nickle metel hydride) instead of ni-cad which had different charging requirements so I limit charge time to no more than 16 hours for a discharged battery. It had been working fine for over a year. Don't forget to apply a few drops of light oil to the cutting blades to extend cutting life. Replacement blades are about $30.00
