Question about Garden
Its a Northstar pressure washer. It starts and runs at half throttle but when I open the throttle up all the way, the engine dies.
Is this a v-twin engine or has the unit been stored for quite some time with fuel in carburetor.inspect fuel jet and tube for restriction.

common for not starting unless trigger engaged as you are turning the pump as well as engine creating pressure,as for stalling pump has unloader valve which is probably in need of grease(use good silicone grease)this allows water to ciculate when trigger released.

You need to remove the carb bowl, then with a small flat screwdriver remove the jet. ( on the side, at the bottom of stem.) take a small wire or toothpick and clean the gunk out of the jet, reassemble and open fuel valve, start, and pat yourself on your back.
