Every time , when I insert CD disk, Durabrand CD-2086 Boombox shows an error of "bad disk" after showing message of "Reading" for a while. Have tried to clean up laser lense, but it is still same. Anything else I can do? Thanks.
Make sure that the disk you are trying to play is an Official bought one, and not a CDR type, if you have done this and are still getting the same results, its the CD laser light thats at fault, and because the Laser light is pretty much the CD player, it will mean the whole CD player will need to be replaced. I hope this helps.

If there is sound in radio mode, but no audio in CD mode (for any CD/MP3 disc of course) , there is a lens problem. Try to clean the lens with cleaning disk. If it wont help you need lense replacement.
Ya i understand your frustration, but if you could explain what doesn't work and what you have on any screen, or what you are doing. any answers to my questions might give me a chance of getting you up and running. here's hoping.
I'm not familiar with that particular model, but unless there is an input jack on the back, the note on the unit means that if you burn a cd on a computer,to play using this unit, you don't have to convert the songs to standard music format as you would with an older boombox, but you can leave them in MP3 format and fit many many songs on the CD, and the boombox will still play them.
So....You must burn the songs from your ipod to a cd, in MP3 format, and the box will play them.
