You can restart the computer HOLD the keys CTRL +f11 or f12 and go to restore to the factory default.

As per my knowledge the Windows system you are using is corrupted, so you have to reinstall it & for so it is leading you to the BIOS screen directly. So all you need to format / reinstall the OS.
Manage a Windows setup CD (if you having it, excellent)
About your images you can use this software to recover those files.. I am not gurantee you that it will recover all photos but it can recover almost all photos

Not sure if this is the one that your looking for but you can see for yourself if it is. If not go online and paste in the remote model and search more for better price if your not happy with the price above or it is not the right remote for your device. John
