I just installed platinum. It asks for my serial number but says it's invalid - I know it is right. Installed both patches but no go. Jowood and spellforce site and forums won't load. HELP!!

Error when starting what and when? There is no serial number when you boot the computer? Serial numbers are used on software such as microsoft word, or windows (but it's called a Certificate of Authentication (COA) or Key).
hope youre not trying to install it using the old serial number on the sticker on your case? It should have come with a new serial number to install. You also have to have XP or Vista to perform an upgrade otherwise you need a full installation CD.
The best you can do here is call Adobe and get the issue resolved. If the serial key you are using is 100% legitimate they are the only ones who can resolve the issue. They will most likely just issue you a new key.
Hello. Some softaware used some unique datafrom your computer to generate licence key for the software (like HARD DRIVE serial number or motherboard serial number) and if your licence is generated by this algorhytm then your licence will be not valid anymore. You will need to contact software manufacturer and ask them about that. I hope this will help you :)
