Replace the inside of the keyboard with a new piece. One of the major problems with Dell keyboards is that the plastic pieces holding the keys in place become loose or broken. You can find a cheap keyboard from Papatek.com or an electronics store. Simply take apart the new keyboard, pull the keys off your keyboard, lay the plastic piece on top and replace your keys.

Just to the right of your power button there is a little button with a "satellite dish" symbol on it. Press this button, a little orange light should come on and your Wlan should start up.

First of all the eMachines E525 has to use LED backlighting.
If so there is one requirement that is crossed off.
No? Then the answer is No.
Next, you really need to look at the manufacturer ID info on the back of the Acer's LCD screen, and the same info on the back of the eMachines LCD screen, to be SURE.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page, look at the last photo.
THAT, manufacturer information.
'Armed' with the Acer's LCD screen manufacturer info, then check to see what all laptops it will work on.
And/or if it works on the E525.
THIS, is the theory.............
The LCD screen of course, isn't manufactured by Acer.
Neither is the eMachines LCD screen.
(In fact the Acer laptop isn't made by them.
Neither is the eMachines.
One of three main companies made it for them.
Quanta Computer, Compal Electronics, or Wistron Corporation)
LG, Hitachi, Sharp, NEC, Chi-Mei, HannStar, Philips, and Samsung; are just a few LCD screen manufacturers for laptops.
If you give me the Acer LCD screen manufacturer into, and the eMachines LCD screen manufacturer into, let me see if I can find out.
Post back in a Comment.

Drivers for the keyboard and touch pad might be faulty. Please check Device Manager and check under "Keyboards" and "Mice and other pointing devices" if you see yellow triangle with exclamation point. If it has, drivers needs to be updated or fixed.
