TV won't power up

I heard a load bang (like a fire cracker) the tv went blank and will not power up.
Is it a fuse, lamp, or pwer supply? After identifying the problem how do I replace bad part?

it sounds like you have a cap that blew. i would pull the back off and check the power supply for caps that are bulged or broken at the top or side. check your fuse also. if it was as loud as you say you will probably able to see where the damage is. if it's a cap or other part that you can see damaged then you need to replace it. please let me know how it turns out.
