Question about Sceptre 32" 720p LED LCD HDTV - Built-in 10W x 2 Speakers 3x HDMI Port
The picture quality comes on horrible and really soft. What would make this happen, I need to replace either the : Power Supply;; Mother Board;; or the Backlight inverters?? thanks

I have the same problem. TV was JUST out of warranty. Sceptre part number is X37SV-Naga and the cost - $285.00 plus $20 shipping. Non-refundable, no returnable.
The TV is of course going to de-solder the board within a year again, so either a good heat sing on both thermistors is in order OR a law suit against Sceptre is in order for putting us a risk of fire.

I too have the same problem...Searched and waited long time for parts. I have replaced everything and the thing still flashes and goes blank but has sound. Not worth anymore stress. My neighbor is an electrical engineer who I used to think can fix anything. He too is baffled. My fix suggestion... Getting a new LCD (not a Sceptre) tonight...with an extended warranty...Sceptre (and their tech's) no help if you don't have a warranty. I learned my lesson!

SOURCE: Replacing Sceptre Power supply
The attached pictures are the back of our TV which is a Sceptre X30SV NAGA III. In ours the power supply is inside the vertical panel on the back right of the TV. The plug goes in the bottom of the panel and you remove the panel with the horizontal louvers with 4 screws to get at the power supply. A replacement power supply is from Delta Electronics part number ADP 180CB B , 24 Volts 7.5 amps 180 Watts that we reordered from here:

SOURCE: No power.
My 3 year Sceptre 27" died. Local TV tech said it was the power module. Charged $25 for the diagnosis and wanted $190 to fix it. Took it home, popped the screws and the module almost fell out. It's a simple plug'n'play!!! Found a new module on eBay for $65 shipping included.
