Question about Radio Communications
My KW-AVX820 used to pair both the handsfree and audio transfer automatically with my Blackberry 9100, one day it just started only pairing the audio transfer and the handsfree pairing fails, it works sometimes but very rarely. I tried resetting the JVC with the reset button and also removing the battery pole in the vehicle and killing the power to the stereo, deleting the pairing and Re-pairing the 2 devices, and changing the encryption the settings on the BB. Don't know what else to try

SOURCE: My Motorola H700 Will Not Pair
I had the same problem and I keep trying and trying 1234, 0000 and other numbers I can think of. It was frustrating. I was ready to throw my device away and buy a new one. Then I tried something that I have not and it worked. All I needed to do is to press the big button in the center of the H700 until it turns purple steadily. And then I pulled out the microphone of the H700. The button remained purple. Then I typed the password 0000 into my cellphone. The button will flicker indicating it's finally communicating and then it finally did!. Try that. Hopefully it works for you too. It worked with mine.

Make sure the microphone is closed and the BlueTooth is off. Hold the button in until it turns purple. As soon as it does release the button and flip out the microphone. The purple light should stay lit all the time now. That is until the pairing process is done with the phone.

there is really no fail safe method to pairing a bluetooth device.
The main thing is recognition. i,d suggest trying to press the different buttons on the transmitting bluetooth device, whilst attempting to pair. i.e volume up/down or on/off et,c. to enable the device-blackberry to find and sync. i,d think the device that needs to be configured or setup correctly is the blackberry rather than the bluetooth device.
try changing the phone settings. to accept all incoming signals on bluetooth, or disable encryption.
hope this helps.

SOURCE: jabra vbt2050 won't connect
Jabra VBT2050 - You have to hold the round button in until the light stays lit (about 20 seconds) this will put it in discoverable mode, the pin is 0000, I have AT@T service and it works just fine. Hope this helps out!
