IBM Wheelwriter 30 Series II is showing an error code of 215 with a box with a slash through it and am unable to type on it

215 is a Print Wheel error. Remove the print wheel, look for debris in the P/W area, if you have a compressed air source blow the P/W area out. If these don't work the P/W sensor is probably bad.

Error 215 code. Looks like a small part that is attached to a spring under the daisy wheel is either broken or loose.

215 is a print wheel error. If you have the "FLAG" broken it will have to be replaced. You will probably need a tech.

WHEN DEPRESSING THER SPACE BAR, THE PRINT WHEEL BACKSPACES INSTEAD OF ADVANCING TO THE RIGHT. I'M ALSO GETTING A 215 CODE.

You are probably in centering mode code "C" should get you out of that. 215 coce is not sensing the printwheel, remove theP/W, look for debris in that area, if you have some canned air blow the area out. If the problem persists you will need a printwheel sensor.

Error code 215

215 is pwintwheel error. First check to be sure the wheel is fully seated and spins when T/W is turned on. If it does then remove it and look for debris in the area where it sits.

IBM wheelwriter 25 message: a box and diagonal line thru it and the number 215.

Code 215 is a printwheel error. Remove the P/W and look for debris in that area, if you have some compressed air source blow this area out, if this dosen't do it the P/W sensor or the LED are probably going bad.

Ibm wheelwriter 30 series 2

215 indicates a printwheel error. Remove the printwheel, look for debris in the P/W cartridge and the area where it sits blow out the P/W area with air if the problem dosen't go away the sensor is probably bad.

Sounds like a keyboard problem, try unpluging the key board if the condition stay the same its bad, yoy can replace it or try this.

The rt. connector has seven of the connections on the rt. bussed together, wrap a piece of foil over the seven connections this should solve the problem.
BE SURE TO JUMPER ONLY THE CONNECTORS THAT ARE JUMPED ON THE RIBBON CONNECTOR!!
