My new htc phone does not recognise the sim card in it

There may be various reasons for your problem.
i) The SIM card which you have inserted might be damaged. Try inserting the same SIM card into any other network free cell phone and check if it works fine with it.
ii) The SIM card might have not been yet activated if it is a new one. Wait for some time to get it activated or call your network provider to ensure its activation status.
iii) The SIM port might have been damaged in your cell phone. Insert any other active GSM SIM card to the cell phone and check whether it works fine with it.
iv) The cell phone might have been restricted to some specific network. You need to unlock your device. You can unlock your HTC phone safer and easier using unique unlock code. You can get the unique unlock code for a HTC phone from SuperUnlockCodes.com at affordable cost with an easy unlocking guide. Good luck.

How do get my phone off of emergency call

This is a normal behavior when a phone does not have a valid/working SIM card. Without a valid/working SIM card or even without a SIM card, the phone can still be used for emergency call.

I hope it helps.

My simcard is not working I have my sim but not working

There may be various reasons for your problem.
* If your SIM card is a new one, ensure whether it has been activated. The activation process may take some time wait for it.
* If your SIM card asks for a PUK code, it may have been locked due to repeated attempts of SIM lock. Get the PUK code from your network provider and unlock it.
* The SIM card may be damaged. Try inserting it in any other active and network free phone. If it doesn't work on that too ask your network provider to replace a new SIM card with same number.
* The SIM port on the mobile phone may be damaged. Try inserting any other active SIM card and check for it. If it doesn't work get it repaired.
* Your cell phone may restricted to any specific network and The SIM card may be some other network. Unlock your phone using unlock code. New sim card and new phone. But nothing works. Is there anything regarding unlock

First ensure through your network provider that the new SIM card has been activated. If not wait for the activation to complete. Everything will be fine.
If the activation has been completed and still if it doesn't work, Insert your SIM card into any other active mobile phone and check whether it works with it. If it doesn't work there is some problem with your SIM card. Contact the seller where you bought your SIM card. If it works fine with the other phone, then there must be some problem with your new phone's SIM port.
Try inserting any other active SIM card to your phone and check whether the SIM port of your mobile phone is fine.
Also make sure that the new phone is free from network restriction or locked to same network of your new SIM card. If it has been locked to some other network, you need to unlock your device.
To unlock a mobile phone from network restriction, you need to enter it's unique unlock code. You can get an unlock code from the respective network provider or from any private service. For example, If you have a Blackberry phone, You can visit UnBBLock.Com to get the unlock code. If you have any other model phone, visit http://www.mobile-unlocker.com/ to get the unlock code at affordable cost with easy unlocking guide. Good luck.

My Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-I9000 doesn't read my SIM Card

Can't figure out exactly what the problem is. Try with the following methods.
1) The SIM card might be damaged. To check this, Try inserting the SIM card into any other active network free phone. If it doesn't work then sure the SIM card is damaged. If it works fine then the SIM card is in good condition.
2) The SIM port on your phone might be damaged. Try inserting any other active SIM card to it. If it doesn't work, then sure the SIM port is damaged. If it work fine, Then the SIM port is in good condition.
3) The phone might be network locked. If the phone doesn't allow any network SIM cards to work with it except any one specific SIM card, Then it is sure network locked. You can unlock a Samsung Galaxy S2 safer and easier using unlock code. You can get the unlock code for a Samsung Galaxy S2 from ProUnlocking.Com at affordable cost with easy unlocking guide.
