Question about Lorex Eco 16channel H264 Security Dvr W 16 Cameras

Open Question

Lorex dvr does not seem to be communicating with Panasonic TV

Have checked all connections and cables as well as cameras yet I do not receive any images from system on the TV. I also am not able to access any setup/menus on screen. It appears that DVR and TV are not communicating. I have checked HDMI cable(tried several); HDMI connections (HDMI 1; HDMI2 and HDMI 3). When I turn TV monitor on with correct input setting and then power up the DVR, the DVR power LED comes on followed by the HDD LED, several audible beeps and the HDD starts flashing but nothing appears on the monitor. I have tried to access the menus using the remote and nothing happens. I have checked and rechecked the cameras all the connections and all the cables with no apparent results.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: i have 2 lorex dvr's. both need web access, can it be done

there are a few ways to accomplish this. one way is you will need more then one static ip. one static ip for each machine, you will then be hitting them on the same port but different ip's. the simplest way is to change the web port setting in the lorex dvr from 80 to something else in the second machine.

Why can't I record on my DVR?

Check all your connections and configuration between decoder to DVR and TV. I find it is more practical to use the DMI connectors for this purpose. Between my LG TV, LG DVR, LG Blue Ray Player and Decoder I use 3 DMI connector cables. Ideal for me because my TV has 3 DMI points, I just connect each of 3 items to TV via a DMI cable. Now connect decoder to DVR via video-audio cable (red-white-blue). This setup allows each unit to be used individually (i.e. tv viewing, recording, blue ray playing and when recording live TV the TV can be switched off while recording. Just remember to select the appropriate DMI connected unit on your TV remote (on "input" button).

Lhv1000 DVR. Why doesn't it display anything?

Check out the video unboxing and trial setup at Lorex 8 security Camera.
Follow the hookup guide.
Make sure you have setup the mobile/Pc connectivity also.
Refer to the user manual online at https://www.lorextechnology.com/downloads/security-dvr/LHV1000/LHV1000_SERIES_MANUAL_EN_R2.pdf

Have you connected the usb mouse; TV or monitor.

Note
  • For cable runs above 300ft / 92m (option 3), you must connect the power adapter directly to the cam- era, rather than at the end of the extension cable (see diagram in page 6).
  • Indicators that your cable run may be too long:
    • Video is permanently black & white (even during day time).
    • Video is unclear, soft, or distorted.

Lorex eco 130 can not get to menu, screen shows Lorex page

There should be a paper clip size hole somewhere on the back of the unit. If you depress the button in there it should be the reset. The problems sounds to me more of a hard drive issue though.

I purchased a system from Lorex model # LHV08C02

Lorex used standard BNC and provides Siamese cables for all their DVR systems; like this one.. If you want to use your own, use 75 Ohm RG-59 or RG-58 with compatible connectors. If using premade cables, use BNC female to female. Power is separate and is provided by the 'wall wart' style power adapter.

Lorex troubleshooting

The most common reason for loss of camera remote video is an intermittent cable connection between camera and DVR. Try monitoring with a VGA monitor, or TV with analog VGA input also to see if that is the case. Gently move the cables around that run from the cameras to the DVR while observing the multiple cameras showing on the monitor. Some remote viewing software has trouble restoring camera assignments after brief loss of camera signal.
