Question about Boating
Under the flywheel .remove the big nut on top , this will not be easy,holding flywheel is critical if yyou turn it backward you might ruin the water pump impellor . you need a flywheel puller to get it off .then the nut needs to be retorqued when putting back on.

add Stabil to the gas tank and run the engine for a few minutes so it gets into the carb. Then pull the plugs and spray fogging oil into each cylinder and then turn the engine over a few times. If you are in a cold climate you should drain the lower unit in case there is water in it and then refill it with new lower unit grease. reinstall the plugs and you will be ready for winter.

First thing you need to do is remove the shift pin it is located underneath the carburetors it is a 3/8 head you will probably need a 1/4 drive swivel socket. After that you can take the bolts that hold the lower unit on off. I think there is four 9/16 bolts on the sides and a 5/8 above the prop and you might need to take the trim tab off and get another bolt under there. It might take a dead blow hammer to get it loose. If you are doing a water pump it is pretty easy just make sure to spin the drive shaft clockwise while putting the housing back on
