SOURCE: LG Home Theater System LHT754 no sound

All you are currently doing is getting sound OUT from the LG HT system. If you want sound from your cable or satellite, you have to run a seperate audio cable into the back of the LG system. If you are running a cable line straight into the TV you need to run an audio cable OUT of the TV so you get sound via the LG system.

SOURCE: Philips Home Theater Speaker Wire (can it be cut?)

Sure you can, Joel.

Put the speakers wherever they will go, and cut the wire from the speaker to whatever length you need to reach your wall terminals. Leave some slack so you can move the speakers if needed. Strip off whatever length of insulation you need to make the terminal connection. Note that the speaker wire will have some kind of polarity marking. There will be a colored stripe or other mark on the insulation, or the conductors themselves may be different colors (usually one wire is copper, and the other tinned so it's silver colored). It doesn't matter which you use for positive as long as you're consistent and use the same one for each speaker.

At the other end where the prewiring comes out for your home-theater system, splice the connector ends you cut off onto the installed wires, following the same polarity. I recommend using an appropriate size insulated **** splice to make the connection. The crimper and splices can be found at auto parts stores, Radio Shack or most hardware stores. It's quick, reliable and makes sure there are no bare wires to short out.

Plug the speakers into the system and you should be good to go. Whip up some popcorn and enjoy the show!

SOURCE: How to extend speaker cables of Philips MX6050D DVD Home Theater

Go down to your local RadioShack or any place that sells wire of any sorts (heck, even Walmart might carry it now) and ask them for speaker wire. I'm not sure what the impedance of this particular model is, but you should be able to find it printed on the back of the speakers, or in your user's manual. This guide will help you to identify what size speaker wires you need, that way when you go in looking for speaker wire, you'll at least sound like you know what you're doing.

Awia speaker ok for home thaeter

Just about any speaker will work for home theater. As long as it makes sound.

Of course, you will need some type of surround sound processor (like a surround receiver) and other speakers to connect to the front left, center, front right and surround connections.

Some speakers will work better than others.

I will not get into any specifics because there is WAAAAY to much information to get into. Do a little research on home theater systems and how to design, hook up etc.

Bose acoustimass remote not communicating

I would try the simple thing first, which is also the cheapest. Replace the IR sensor. I have put in hundreds of these and I would say about 1 out of every 20 went bad or started bad.

I need to know the website or the retailer for this brand so I can contact them for the full set, all I have is the subwoofer. can anyone help me out?

You might want to read some user feedback before investing any more money into this product line. Any published 'specs' would be as suspect as their sonic pedigree.

http://forum.ecoustics.com/bbs/messages/3/245643.html

The concensus is it's a scam.

Some opinions...

"anyone who writes that these things sound fine is either making money off of them, a scam victim seeking to pawn off his folly on someone else, or they need to have a root canal performed on their ears."
"If you get approached by people trying to sell you this stuff, take some pictures of them , get a plate # , and call your local police and local news.

Do a search for white van speakers , you'll find some interesting reviews ..

Don't get Scammed ! Brands sold out of white speaker vans or suv

How Curtis 5091 DVD home theatre speakers can hang on the wall

I dont think I would use adhesive because of the vibration. Have you considered using a picture hanger? the short brass ones with the little divits on the bottom? I know that would mean permenantly attaching them, but they would be invisible from the front.
