Hi Eric. Firstly remove the starter head then turn it over. Turn the inside disc anti anti clockwise until the spring stops turning. Get some help from someone else to thread the new cord through the spigot and tie two knots in the end together. Slowly release the spring and the new cord should go into the starter. Job done. replace on the mower and off you go.
