Excessive Vibration in Echo PAS-230 edger accessory

When I use the edger accessory it began recently having a lot of vibration. It will loosen the nut in which the wheel is loosened and you can feel the extra vibration in the hands as well. I am uncertain why this is occuring as there is no issue with the weed eater attachment (no excessive vibration with that component). Any assistance would be great and extremely appreciated.

Sounds like the Edger blade is unbalanced/off centre/unevenly worn or loose.

SOURCE: how to change an old edger blade

Take a pair of vise grips and clamp the blade to a 2X4 for more leverage. Some old edgers had a left hand thread.

SOURCE: Describe your Poulan/Weed Eater No.

I found the manual for this model weed eater, according to the manual the mixture...
and I quote "This engine is certified to operate on unleaded gasoline. Before operation, gasoline
must be mixed with a good quality synthetic 2-cycle air cooled engine oil designed to be
mixed at a Ratio of 40:1 ...."
and I quote once more from the manual "Helpful Tip. To obtain
correct oil mix ration, pour 3.2 ounces of 2 cycle synthetic oil into one gallon of fresh gas."

Hope that helps,
If you like I can send the manual via email if you need it.

:) happy weed thrashing

How to release harley handle vibration?

All v twins have an inherent low vibration. It's what makes them great. If you're asking how to minimize the vibration, aftermarket poly dampers are available to replace the mounts where the handlebar mounts to the tree. There's heavier, softer handlbar grips that make a huge difference, wearing gloves help. If excessive vibration is something that recently appeared you should check your front wheel balance, engine mounts, etc. A good front wheel inspection and balancing should help.

There's excessive vibration on my TB70SS trimmer. What can I do to correct this?

common with these units is the spindle drive gets damaged causing it's rotation to be off set and causing vibration, look for marks on outer casing around central spindle joint . also check the line holder has not been damaged causing to be offset .worn shaft bearings can also cause this problem.

My MYD edger breaks off the adjustment rod any fixes

I've broken two of them. I had a lot of vibration, and the blade was bent. I'm replacing the rod and the blade to hopefully fix the problem. If it breaks again, and I still have the vibration, I'll look at replacing the belt and possibly the pulleys.

I have a CRF100 and it has excessive vibration

Make sure all of the engine mounting bolts are tightened properly. One loose engine mount bolt can cause exactly what you are describing. While you're doing that, perform a visual inspection of the attachment points on the frame, making sure there are no visible cracks.
Aside from that, just stick a wrench on every bolt and nut on the bike that you can see - and make sure everything is tight.
The only other possible thing I can think of would be a loose flywheel on the crankshaft. Unlikely, but check just to be sure.

Vibration that I hear and feel in shaft after trimmer warms up

Sounds like the drive shaft may be broken or weak in one spot. When it heats up, the metal becomes softer, causing the vibration. Have you had the drive shaft off recently?

Excessive vibration of the steering column

Sound more like out of balance tires, or bent wheel. Unless this vibration is even in park. Then I would say something is up against a part of the steering that shouldn't be.. Or your exhaust system is bent or touching part of the undercarriage that it shouldn't be. Was the car ever wrecked?
