Would you please provide the make and model of your computer, the make and model of your video card, whether your operating system is 32bit or 64bit? Let me know if you need to know where to find these pieces of information. These are all important details in helping you with your problem.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
New users get to try the service completely Free afterwhich it costs $6 per call and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: Video controller VGA compatible problem

What operating system did you re-install? Go to the maker of your PC (HP, Dell etc..) and try to download the drivers that you need there.

SOURCE: My pc is hanging while playing games...pls any one

It seems like you have either a thermal problem (processor cooler defective, undersized or incorrectly mounted) or a defective power supply. I'm about 90% sure that the problem is thermal.

On windows xp every time i try to play media eg films in windows player 11 my system crashes

You should first try to use a free media program like VLC ( http://www.videolan.org/ ) or Media Player Classic ( http://mpc-hc.sourceforge.net/ ), and see if the system still crashes, to verify that it's the driver.

If the system crashes only during media playback, it's very likely that your graphics driver has a bug.
The companies who release those drivers are aware of those problems, and if you have an ATI or NVIDIA graphics card, you should get the newest drivers from their respective site (AMD: http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloads/Pages/downloads.aspx , NVIDIA: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us ).

If you're unsure, or you have a laptop sold by an OEM (like Dell, or HP), you should visit their site and get the newest drivers for your model, from them.

Nightmare ned CD/ROM

This software was released long before Win7 was being worked on. Thus it isn't going to work directly in Win7; Microsoft has changed a lot in the OS. However, with a bit of work and either Win7 Pro or Ultimate, there is a workaround. Install the XP mode program from Microsoft (it's a two download process) and create a virtual computer inside your main computer. You should be able to install and run the game within the virtual computer.

I hope this helps.

My graphics card is fast at one point then slows down!

Make sure the driver for the notebook from the manufacturers website is installed, and not the video driver from Microsoft's Windows Update. After that, update Java, Adobe Flash and Adobe Shockwave. Finally, check for updates for DirectX (version 9.0C). Post back your results, please.

Cant play pogo games..they wont download,

you have to check if the game requires a specific graphic card. most probably your graphic card is not meeting the game's minimum requirements. if its a good graphic card then you have to check if the graphic card is connnected right on the mother board, if it is, then check if the fan on the power supply, the CPU and the one on the graphic card are working cuz sometimes excess heat will cause this.

let me know how it goes !!!
