Can the count for number of coffee pucks be reset so empty coffee grounds light doesn't come on before the container is even halfway full?

SOURCE: Delonghi EAM 3400 keeps saying "Empty Grounds Container"

I think the microswitch that sensors the front door is not activated. Try to find it and "give it a massage" The machine resets the counter for the grounds container every time the door switch is activated.

Hello.

Normally, normally when you turn machine off, it should re trigger the light button to go off. Another thing to try, is unplugging machine and waiting for about 15 minutes then plugging machine back in. Of course you want to make sure when you dumped grounds, that no grounds were spilled in hole under container and that container is good and tight back in. Hope this helps, Mike
