My shredder stop shredding. has paper caught in...

I was doing some shredding when i heard a popping sound and then the shredder stop shredding, the power works, and the reverse switch work, it just wont shred anything.

Please help.

If your equipment makes abnormal noise when you try to switch on again then gear problem is confirmed else the change over switch should be defective or there may be a open circuit in the change over switch connection
I shall advice you to call the service engineer for fixing the problem else take safty pecaution to attempt repairs

If the machine makes abnormal sound when you switch on again then check for gear jam or broken gears. And if the machine fails to even start or make any noise when you try to operate,then check the change over switch for lose connection or open circuit. If you are trying to make a attempt on your own do take safty precaution for the above given advice else call up your service enginner for help

You must have a stripped gear. Should be a number in op manual. Take the top cover off and look for the broken gear. Call them an order gear.
