SOURCE: I'm wondering if I should get more shelves or more drawers in my bathroom vanity

I'm a drawer's person - I love drawers since you can pull them out and don't have to bend every time, like you have to with shelves. I would lose all the shelves and have only drawers. From the designer's perspective, I find drawers are better looking than cabinets.

SOURCE: My curling iron has left a burn mark on my laminated bathroom vanity. How can I fix this?

No need to worry, as long as the burn mark is not too deep, this is a quick and easy fix.

Begin by wiping down the surface using a rag and soapy water. Next you will need to make a paste using baking soda and water (three parts baking soda to one part water) and apply over the burn mark. Allow this paste to sit for 20-30 minutes. Next you will need to use an old toothbrush and scrub the area until the mark has disappeared - you may need to apply more paste. Wash away the mess.

Since your vanity surface is laminate - as long as it is white - you can use plain white toothpaste instead of the baking soda/water mixture.

What kind of mirror should I use in my bathroom?

All bathrooms need a mirror - it's the place you are most likely to shave, do your facial care routine and dry your hair.

When choosing a mirror for the bathroom, pick one that is the same width as your vanity/ sink unit otherwise it won't blend with the design of the room.
