MOTOROLA V3i cant apply MP3's as ringtone!!!!!!!!

Just bought the V3i (previously owned the original V3) but cannot for the life of me find a way to set saved/downloaded MP3 songs as ringtones. when i go into "sounds" menu select a song and click the menu button there is no option to "apply as ringtone" as there is on the old V3's and L6's. Can anybody advise? thanks

If you have a memory card and the ringtone is on the card, you will have to copy it to your phone to be able to use it as a ringtone.

My razr v3 won't use dowloaded ringtones

you should have the phone debrand by flashing a new firmware on the phone and this would remove the block place in the phone.

Cant apply audio file as a ringtone

I'm told the Razr 3a's software won't allow audio files that were transfered to your phone via Bluetooth, for example, to be used as ringtones. I gather they want us to buy them instead.

How do i download mp3 ringtones to my phone?

If it is Only Razr V3 then probably youdon't have memoty card slot and the sadest part is it has got only 5 MB of space, which will allow you to store only one or two Mp3 song(s) depending upon the size. You can transfer it through Bluetooth. If it is a V3i model having Memory card slot then it is even easier to down load by using Card Reader connected to PC. just drag & drop to the music folder in your memory card. In a memory card you can put lots of songs depending upon the size of your card, say 128MB can hold upto arround 30 nos of songs. Yes you can put choose the Mp3 as Ring Tone Also.
