Question about Televison & Video

1 Answer

Factory Settings Problem with TV. It appeared not to save the channel settings and the tuning had to be redone several times. It now seems that the digita signal for the ABC channels is the only problem. One of the suggestions made regarding my original query on Fixya was on a different Sanyo tv model. That was to reset to te factory settings. I couldn't find how to do that in the manual and I am wondering if you can provide instructions.

SOURCE: no channels on the list

Be sure that you are on the "Tuner" input, and that if you are using a converter box, that you have the set tuned to the single channel that the box puts out. (In the US, that's either 3 or 4.)...accordianman

You need to set the tuner signal source from CABLE to AIR for it to look for Digital TV signal from the AIR, the setup should be in the on screen TUNER SETUP menu.

Please leave raring if it helps.

I had to reboot my tv because i lost the radio This time though i accidently pressed yes at the end for analogue. It has gone to 'no signal' and i cant get it off. Please advise me. Thankyou

reset tv back to manufactures settings, than setup like new setup by going to settings, go to automatic tuning so the tv can setup channels and radio if you have a smart tv type, when you go to settings you setup channels and save than go to find radio signals for tv. automatic scan., save, you should be able do everything through the remote. take your time, do not rush or you may start a few times. here is some place to get more help.

37" Polaroid LCD TV No signal appears when select channel

I was having same problem, and think I got lucky and found fix.

Try unplugging the TV and waiting 30 seconds, then plug back in.

You will likely get blue screen with "No Signal".

Go to Menu, then scroll down to "Setup". Select "Factory Reset" then hit "Yes."

This did it for me. Wish you all luck.
