I have a JVC TV - Model AV-32WFT1EK. Recently the picture has become very dark. I have the brightness turned fully up and cannot get a bright picture. The Contrast is set at half, Sharpnes works OK, Colour OK as is the tint . Eco mode makes little difference. TV is approx 5 years old. Is there a manual method of adjusting the brightness. (I have been using my remote)

- Does this mean that I have to remove the back of the TV? What does the flyback transformer look like?
-   I am having the same problem with my Konka FL2792U 27" Square and Flat screen TV. I was Playing PS3 on mine never had a prob. with it before and all the sudden it went dark you can still it but its really dark too dark to watch and enjoy even with all the settings wide open anyone know whats wrong with it nad the best way to fix it? lemme know thanks
On the inside of the TV, on the flyback transformer there should be two controls. Turn the one that says "screen" very slowly clockwise while looking at the pix. The pix should get brighter as you turn it up- if you go to far you will see lines in the pix or the TV may shutdown.
