Question about Motorola CLS 1410 (4 Channels) 2-Way Radio
The manual for Motorola CLS 1410 2-way radio does not say how to clean the radio and/or charger. How do I do this? Contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org Thank You, Tommy S.

The problem you are experiencing is not a mic problem, or the problem would also be associated with the two-way radio portion of the radio. Your radio is either in need of repair or you have a bad, low or defective battery. It takes more energy to transmit or use the unit as a phone than to simply receive.
If your radio is under warranty (less than 1 yr old) you can return it to the place of purchase for warranty replacement or service. After warranty repair is also available through Motorola's factory depot. Ask your local dealer.

Sorry to say, there is no repair manual available for the CLS1410, nor are parts available, other than a few parts common to other radios. If you use the Motorola Repair Depot, they will replace your radio for the price of the repair (currently $116)
