Try using WD-40 or sewing machine oil on the bit that the blades are independent from the motor usually just a small opening that you can try to spray some lubricant in there which will reduce friction and noise by lubing up the bearing and decreasing wear if that helps you will then know what the underlying issues are and if you need further action
yes it should be bypass but solenoid could be trying to open but the voltage to it may be to low if you have 24v ac power at the 2 small wires. but to change shut down power to furnace and water to humidifier.you loosen the 2 compression nuts unwire they cant be reversed so dont worry then 2 mounting screws then reverse to install
Sounds like your humidistat is the problem. Try turning it off, if still clicking, disconnect one of the wires at the valve (if accessable). If the valve doesn't close, replace valve. Otherwise replace humidistrat.
Sounds like your motor bearings are going bad. If at all possible lubricate the motor bearings using a few drops of a NON detergent oil. If the motor has sealed bearings with no oil ports then you should replace the blower motor.
According to the Crane's Troubleshooting section: The power light is green but there is no mist being emitted: - Check that there is water in the tank. - Check for possible lime deposits on the water level sensor or the nebulizer. - Make sure that nothing blocks the vapor output slots. - Check that the fan vent on bottom of humidifier is not blocked. - Empty the humidifier and rinse the water basin with cool tap water and allow to dry for 15 to 30 min.
