What is code p0106

A P0106 could be caused by: Bad MAP sensor Water/dirt intrusion affecting MAP sensor connector Intermittent open in the reference, ground, or signal wire for the MAP sensor Intermittent short in the reference, ground, or signal wire for the MAP sensor Ground problem due to corrosion causing intermittent signal problem A break in the flexible air intake duct between the MAF and the intake manifold Bad PCM (do not assume the PCM is bad until you've exhausted all other possibilities)

Low voltage at compressor!

My parts lookup too has no images available for you refrig but i believe it to be a GE Profile with a fresh food fan (and air duct down the center of the fresh food side). All fan motors are 12vdc and run off the Lowvoltage side of motherboard. i assume you are checking voltage to comp from motherboard? How did you check relay?? Have you axcessed motherboard?? On the top of (I say top-- i belive its mounted horiz on yours but all the small wires are on the right) is all the low voltage fan motor, damper, control wiring On the bottom (or the left) side of the motherboard is the larger line voltage wiring. The connector with 3 wires is labeled def -- comp---line it should be blue. Try jumping L1 to comp. ((Just so ya know Def will energize the def heater regardless of compartment temp it does have a bimetal but it only a safety set at 100deg in case relay on board welds shut---it monitor evap compartment, frz, fresh food, (two seperate in FF) in your model))

lost power to the mAP, check the power pin.
lost ground to sensor.
lost vacuum to the sensor (clogged paths)

Map lights work intermittent.

Relay should be under the hood. Some lights only work when parking or headlights are on.

Ac air not blowing

On this vehicle there is a blower motor control module located on the right side of the vehicle inside the engine compartment behind a relay cover. You have to remove the cover and unbolt the retainers holding the relay box to gain access to the module which in mounted into the evaporator duct just behind the duct. If you jump a wire from the red to the puple wire (with key in the on position) the blower should come on. The red wire is in the two wire connector and the purple wire is in the 4 wire connector. if the motor comes on check to see if you have 6 volts on the gray wire with a black tracer located in the 4 wire connector. If you do the blower motor control module has failed. This is a rather common failure on this model.

1990 geo metro headlight problem

hmmmm sounds like you are on the right track with the ground . with as much current as headlights pull it is possible that the intermittent open you are experiencing has to do with heat coming from an open in the wiring . i believe your best bet would be to locate a wiring diagram for your cars headlight circuit and inspect every wire in that circuit as well as one surrounding for thing like : burn marks , corrosion , places where insulation has worn off or is no longer even there ( :) ) ,and i believe you may find something . also , some cars come with a set of relays specifically for the headlights . these the headlights may be drawing extra current through the relay causing it to switch off (means headlights are bad ) , or the relay itself may have worn out over time (relay (s) may be bad ). i hope this helps you

Spins fine but no heat

I solved the problem. The problem was the heater relay. Once I troubleshot the system and realized the wiring was likely good, the only answer was the heater relay. Since the heater relay and motor relay are identical I swapped them to make sure and now the motor didn't work. Picked up a new relay for $30 and it was fixed...
