Facebook chat dongle

My dongle has fallen in the water and it is detecting in PC. but it showing a message "the sim/usim card has not beendetected or is invalid"

You can try taking it out, blowdrying it out well and letting it dry for a day or so. If that doesn't work, you may need a new one

Hi,
The problem you're having is due to the speed of connection on your T Mobile dongle.
I've personally had problems using anything slower than 3G, if you set your dongle to just using 3G networks then you'll have no problem.
I've personally found that using a Facebook Chat Messenger makes stabilizes Facebook Chat performance when the signal suddenly slows or problems occur with your connection.

could you please tell me what browser are you using;
when did this start to happen - what did you do;
try clearing the cache and history of your browser!

Hey!
When you go into messaging, on the message, go to options and click move. Then it should say move to SIM or move to USIM. That will transfer your message to your sim card. Sadly you can't use the memory card for messaging.

What does usim full mean
USIM is the SIM card for 3G networks (U stands for UMTS). It operates under a different voltage level, as compared to the normal SIM card.
Many operators (like mine here) don't make a distintion, related to their service, between them, i.e. I can access the 3G network with my old SIM card. As far as I know, USIM cards shouldn't be put in non-3G phones. On the other hand, 3G enabled phones are able to handle both types.

Lg kf700 wont accept any sim cards,
Hi,

it sounds weird that it worked before with same sim card. Generally USIM locked message means phone is locked to network and you need to unlock it with network unlock code to remove USIM locked and use phone on different network.

Insert USIM
If you haven't already done so, try this: take out the SIM card, wipe it down with a dry, soft cloth, and reinstall it WHEN the phone asks for it.

Hi, I open up a chat box to message friends on Facebook, but they mentioned that they have problems with the chat facility, something to do with a USB dongle with bad signals. They can do everything else...
a usb dongle can be replaced, as far as facebook problems, that is on thier end and nothing you can do about thier servers chat being down..

I need unlocking lg u890
i had a lg u890 mobile phone that i got unlocked but it had the same proble where i swithched on my phone it used to ask for the usim code..my old phone was locked to the 3 nt/wrk i got it unlocked so i could use my 3 nt/wrk sim card or any network simcard but i used vodafone 3g sim card.the code i used with my vodafone 3g network simcard in phone when switched phone on & it asked for usim sim code i inserted code i got & it shut the phone down then on again then it wld work with vodafone no bother at all it even came up with vodafone uk etc.but i had to reconfigure the sms/text telephone number aswell as reconfigure the mms settings & numbers etc aswell as reconfigure wap settings from 3g network to vodaphones.but after i got it all unlocked & settings changed etc & inserted a different 3g network simcard ie vodaphone/orange/o2/3g sim/t-mobile/tesco sim/virgin sims & switched phone on it asked for usim code i tryed the code i have & inserted the same code i have it/they switched phone off & then back on & all network usim card worked with no problems at all.the code i have is.>>> 142358#*# thats 142358# * # all 1 item/action.once you insert that 142358#*# thats it your phone will shut down then restart up & go onto the network usim card you want to use or inserted before using code.but 1 thing tho please remember if u switch off your phone or your phone switches off as batterys run out no power u will need to insert the code again.& another thing code wont work if your phone switches off or you switch it off & plug your mobile battery charger into phone to charge your battery up on the phone & you switch you phone back on when you are charging your phone as the phone will switch on & say insert usim code if you enter the code the phone will switch off & back on again but it will still request usim code.so you will have to wait unto there is plenty of charge in the battery to take phone off charge & swithch your phone on get the usim code message insert code above phone will switch off & straight back on again & then it will go onto your prefured usim card then you can plug your charger into phone again to charge phone up.you can use your phone on charger when u have entered usim code & it switched off & on again & registered with the prefered network.i hope this is of use to you as it is to me.if you try this code & either if it works or not please can you let me knows ty.email [email protected]
