Question about Sharp 27J-S100 TV
Tv went to all snow, every channel while in use. turn off/on doesn't clear. I connect from wall, through a cable converter to tv. Cable co. came, researched & pronounced cable, cable converter are good - problem must be my tv. They even used my cable to connect to their portable tv & it looks fine. Picture & sound are fine if use TV for watching DVDs. I'm leaning toward the coax connector as culprit. Is it possible to replace that myself?
If your cable converter box has audio/video connections on the back of it,you don't need to worry about using that RF coax connector. Just hook it up the same way your DVD is hooked to the TV input jack. Get a 3-wire cable (yellow-red-white)hook it to the same colors on the back of the cable box and hook the other end to an unused input on the back of the TV. Then select that input with your remote and watch TV.
