If you are talking about turning on the personal hotspot, that is in settings. It is the 5th icon from the top. If you are talking about the two interlinked oval icon showing you that you have the personal hotspot active, you'll see that on the status bar at the top next to your 4g or LTE symbol when you are on the lock screen. If you are in your phone your status bar should be blue with the words "personal hotspot. 1 connection" or how many ever connection you have. If you are using a device to connect to your phones personal hotspot you'll get the interlinked oval icon in the top left corner.

Make sure your hotspot is getting a strong signal from your carrier. Try restarting the PC or the hotspot. Try disconnecting and reconnecting to the hotspot as well.

How to save wi fi password on Apple Iphone5

Try this. Go to Settings Wi-Fi, click on your home network and then the little I (information icon), make sure HTTP Proxy is switched to off. click forget this network. Reboot phone (power off, count to 10 and power back up).

Go back to Settings, Wi-Fi, Home Network and try again. If that doesn't work, click Renew Lease.

My iphone5 has quit ringing when incoming calls come in & it also has quit alerting me when a text comes in

Check the small movable button on the left side edge of phone. Make sure "orange color" is not showing. If it is then it has been pushed to the silent mode. Simply push button back towards the front. Happened to husband twice.

I cannot post photos from my mobile phone to facebook anymore. This is sad! What can I do to fix this?.

This has nothing to do with your hotspot, the problem you are facing (processcom.facebook.katana) is caused by your phone, I hope you also posted your phone model so we can help you much more. but depending on your phone and Depending on your Operating system,
Try going to your application,
tap settings (it is a gear like icon), from your settings,
Tap application manager (JB4.1 & 4.2)
tap the more/general tab (JB 4.3), then tap application manager,
from application manager, navigate to downloaded, (programs downloaded and installed)
scroll down to your facebook app, tap to open it,
once open, tap clear cache, and clear data,
reboot your phone.
once your phone rebooted normally, tap facebook application, and re-enter your username and password, make sure to enable sync, try also checking facebook app settings if it has the option to sync with wifi, if yes, make sure it is enabled.

The wireless hotspots most likely out of range.

Icon very big how can i make it small

First of all try this: Tap the iPhone with three fingers twice in succession. The home screen icons will be magnified to 200 percent. To adjust the zoom level, touch the screen with three fingers then move them up to increase the zoom, and down to lower it. The next time you tap the screen twice with three fingers, the iPhone will automatically return to your custom zoom level.
If it doesn't help, follow the steps below and repeat the above (step 5.)
  1. Tap the "Settings" menu from the iPhone home screen.
  2. Tap "Accessibility."
  3. Tap the word "Off" next to "Zoom" to turn the Zoom feature on.
  4. Return to the iPhone home screen.
  5. Tap the iPhone with three fingers twice in succession. The home screen icons will be magnified to 200 percent. To adjust the zoom level, touch the screen with three fingers then move them up to increase the zoom, and down to lower it. The next time you tap the screen twice with three fingers, the iPhone will automatically return to your custom zoom level.
Let me know if you need further help.
Good Luck.
Thanks for using FixYa.

How to set up wifi

If you're at home with a Wi-Fi router:

Goto "Settings" - "Wi-Fi"

Your router should appear in the list, if it doesn't - try restarting your router.

When you select your router it will most probably ask you for a password. This can be found under your router as MAC or WPA Key

You'll need a password for the majority of wi-fi hotspots you try connect to, although there are apps which will direct you to free hotspots.

First, you must be in range of a Wifi hotspot (wireless local area network). You can adjust network setting to connect to an access point such as a Wi-Fi hotspot or the router on a wireless home network and save the network connections data on your PSP. Up to 10 connections can be saved.

Hotspots can be found in airports, hotels, restaurants, and at home if you have a wireless network. Once in range of the hotspot, go to "Settings" menu, >> "Network" Settings and press "X" Button. Select "Infrastructure Mode" and press X Button. Set up the "New Connection". For details about Infrastructure Mode set up, or Ad Hoc Mode set up, visit us.playstation.com.

Search for networks in range. You will usually need a signal of at least 40% to connect - the higher the percent, the connection will be faster. If the connection is successful, information about the network connection will appear. hope this helps.

Bluetooth Icon not working

I had the same problem with my nokia n80.

The solution i found is:

with the remote go to bluetooth phone. then on the remoete av menu. now you can select bluetooth as it's not grey anymore. i would advise search device with a new pin and not the standard 0000.

Good luck.

Let me know if it worked. It did for me. (eu model)
