SOURCE: Poula Pro Mower

Hi,your machine is probably a hydro static drive & needs the oil changed in the transmission.
But the pump that pushes the oil around inside it is probably to far gone for repair.
I am not sure about this machine but we have had a simlar problem with a rideon this summer.
It has one pedal that you push forward for forward movement & rearwards to go backwards.
We were able to get a new drive pump for the transmission but it was expensive, most of these machines have nearly the same transmissions so getting the parts should be no problem.
Also we do know is that there are some machines with oil emersed discs inside (like wet type clutches) these also need regular oil changes & can burn out without oil. (Bronze plated disc)
You would need to find the name plate on the transmission & there should also be model & serial no on the casing.
Once you have these details you should be able to find transmission parts lists online.

SOURCE: my poulan pro 6.75 self-propel mower stalls frequently

Replace the coil. Remove the top cover so that you can see the flywheel. There will be a horseshoe shaped peice with the plug wire attatched to it along with a small whir plugged onto it. Remove the two screws holding it on and unplug small wire and disconnect plug wire. When you put the new one on place a business card between coil and flywheel, this will give you the proper spacing, reconnect small wire and plug wire, reassemble top covers and you are good to go.

Poulan pro pr185h42st How do I remove the steering column

Do you have the tractor operator's manual? There are parts diagrams in the back. If not, here is a typical Poulan Pro Manual It looks like you should.

1. Remove the steering wheel.
2. Remove the steering shaft extension
3. Remove the clip from the shaft down by the steering sector.
4. At this point the steering shaft may slide out the bottom of the tractor through a hole in the frame. If there is no hole you will have to remove the complete steering sector from the tractor.

New poulan pro 25cc chokes out after if I give it full throttle. Runs ok except it wont stay running on full throtle.

I find with my Poulan Pro that you need to let it warm-up abit before applying full throttle, I live in Upstate NY where the weather has bee great lately, however, it stalls easy ..I mix 1-pint of 3 stroke oil to 1-gallon of gas for my weed eater and have no problem

My Poulan Pro 295 chain saw starts fine, runs for a few minutes, then stops and will not start until completely cool. What could be my problem?

It sounds very much loke the ignition is playing up when hot, just as a little test when it starts to die slacken off the fuel filler cap does it pick up/re start? if yes it is a fuel tank breather issue, replace the breather.
