Unfortunately not. Even if you could figure out what component is broken, which you likely can't, many of the parts are not available on the general market and precision soldering on the board is nearly impossible. Fixing it requires equipment which is way more expensive than replacing it, which is probably why Apple replaces, not fixes.

SOURCE: Im using Logic Pro 8,

An update of some kind, or some file the software uses could have become corrupted.
I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling.
If that doesn't work, part of the security of Absynth is to cause crashing on "illegal" or "cracked" copies of the software.
Follow this link and read up on similar problems.

I dropped my macbook

It's either a broken logic board or hard drive. It's repairable but make an appointment at the Apple Store genius bar to decide whether the cost of repair is worth it vs. a replacement.

My MacBook Pro is stuck on the grey start up screen with the apple logo and a spinning circle. Sometimes it gets to a probationary circle with the spinning circle.

Unfortunately, this sounds like a problem with your hard drive/ logic board. To Fix This You Will Need To Go To The Apple Store And They Will Most Likely Have To Replace Or Repair It. the Process Takes About 2 Days - 1 Week (Just To Set Expectations.) :(

Remove and re-insert the RAM chips. Nothing? Replace the RAM chips with new higher memory RAM chips. Nothing? Replace the hard drive and re-install the OS. Nothing? Repair or replace the logic board.

Tomtomxl340s won't start when plugged into car

Sounds like you have a broken charger, USB port or logic board. Try a different charger, inspect the usb port if it is loose. If both is not the issue, it's your logic board. There is a third party tomtom Repair service that will replace the logic board and a tomtom repair guide if you want to replace it yourself, the screen is available on ebay.

Do the patterns of distortion change as you are twisting and bending the laptop body? If so, you're dealing with a logic board issue. Probably your GPU is not soldered properly anymore. Go to the Genius bar first, if they can't help you can try a self repair or send it to a third party place. There is a free Macbook Air Repair guide that will show you how to do it. iPad Repair

Twist the Macbook body while turning it on. If that make the image come back, you have a broken logic board. There are Mac Repair Guides that show how to open a Macbook. Watch out for the ribbon cables, those tear easily. Replacement parts are usually available on Ebay. There are third party services that can do it for you, like Mac Repair NYC.

Do you mean the behind the keyboard backlight or something else?
As far as I'm aware only the macbook Pro models have KB backlighting so without a motherboard change you are probably out of luck

Replacing the Logic board

OK. Start by remiving the cover, fan, adaptor card and power supply. Remove from the logic board: The hard drive power cable, hard drive data cable and the floppy drive cable. with the rear of the case facing you, release the two tabs with your forefingers while at the same time as pushing on the 120-pin connector with your right thumb. Slide the logic board to the front of the case until it stops. Caution: Be sure the power on/off button clears the rear panel before you lift the logic board out of the case. While lifting the board, do not touch connector J19 or J20. (The oil from your skin harms the connectors.) Gently lift the board out of the case. Replacement Note: Remove the SIMMs from the defective logic board and install them on the replacement logic board. I really hope this helps because it is correct information. If you want to be extra cautious, visit a repair shop instead. Good Luck!
