SOURCE: Table Saw blade

Did you remove the center plate? It has to come out before you can remove the blade. Also make sure that the saw is unplugged before you go any further. If you still have questions contact me and I will do what I can. Also if you would like you can download a schematic of this tool at Makitatools.com just type in your model and look at the schematic. Good luck

If the arbors the same and you're running with in the RPM rating, it will be fine. But ALWAYS wear your safety glasses.

SOURCE: Bosch 4000 table saw. The saw stopped while

If you are mechanically inclined and it sounds that way do you have a volt ohms meter?? If so start at the cord and check the continuity to the brush holders. Why did you replace the field? You might have had a stuck brush or some other problem. Make sure the brushes move freely in the tubes and also look for discoloration on the commutator of the armature. Let me know what you find and I will try and help you thru the rest of it.

What direction does the blade nut turn to loosen and remove a table saw blade on the Bosch 4000 ? Counter-Clockwise?

Hi John:
Depends on which side of the spindle it is mounted on.
Give this a try:
- Unplug the saw
- Set a piece of wood on the table as if you were going to cut it, and slide it into the blade so that it jams the teeth.
- Use your wrench to rotate the nut in the direction of rotation.
That should loosen it..
Cheers.

I require a armature and cannot seem to find a supplier

You can find parts on ereplacementparts.com
Check your model number though because what you have is not a Bosch model - I would guess you have a 4410L?

Bosch Glide Miter Saw get stuck at 45 degree bevel to the left

Adjusting the miter angle involves two cast surfaces sliding against each other. If those surfaces have some irregularities, high spots on the two surfaces will bind against each other. You may have to disassemble the rotating table from the base and do some filing or grinding.

My 10" Bosch miter saw

I would remove the blade and try the saw again, there is a possibility that you might have gotten a flange on incorrectly or left the spacer out.

Bosch 4000 10" table saw

this saw does not have a breaker overload. Let it cool down and see if works, if not then you have an electrical issue that would need to be diagnosed.

I have a Bosch 4000 table saw when I start it will not rev up to full speed and after a min. or two the blade will **** to a stop and make a clicking sound then start up at half speed then immediately...

The field coil sounds like it has failed, best to find a service cneter in your area, this is a very involved repair if you are not familiar with these units.

Blade stops in middle of cut, slipping motor rpm is un changed. 10" compound sliding Bosch miter saw

Going on the information aas I read it, the blade is slipping, meaning that it is not tightened enough or a spacer in the hole in the blade is too thick. Make sure that the wall plug is pulled out before attempting any work on the blade.

My bosch table saw runs slowly backwards what part do i replace

Replace the field coil. I'm going to bet its a Model 4000. I have done about 100 of these saws in the last couple of years and my customers always complain of the same problem, "the saw was running backwards"

Change the armature back bearing while you have it apart, they always seize eventually.
