SOURCE: fender 100w twin amp no sound

Here is a test you can do at home for the sound. Test out the speaker. To do this you will need two alligator clips with wire about ft. long. Remove the speaker wire clips under the speaker magnet and attach the alligator clips . Take a C size battery and touch both ends of the battery. You should here a scratching sound . If you do you know your speaker is OK. Then you have a problem that needs a Technician. A good music shop should be able to give you a idea of the repair cost. Don't go to a big music change, find a small full service shop that deals with Fender. I don't think this will cost a lot. Fenders play for years, Its truly worth the bench fee. Good luck DFD , please rate me thanks

SOURCE: I have an early Fender

Your amplifier uses 2 tubes 12AX7WA. These tubes are not expensive (less than 10$ each) so, since you know that they are used for a long period of time, I suggest you use a brand new one set. Take a look at this link for instance. You can not troubleshoot a problem like yours if the tubes are not brand new.

In case of a problem or clarification, don't hesitate to post me a reply before rejecting my answer.
If you are satisfied, accept my solution.

SOURCE: HI CAN YOU PLEASE TELL

A common reason for 'distortion' with all bass amps can be either that the screws holding the speaker unit to the cabinet have worked loose or that there has been a build up of dust particles in the corrugations around the edge of the speaker cone, which rattle especially on the lower notes.
The solution is simple - remove the front grille and check the screws are tight. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust from the rim of the speaker cone.

SOURCE: My Fender deluxe VM soound

Inout connectors are often broken by tripping overr cables resulting in intermittent operation. Wiggle plug and then each pot to see if anything shows itself. Circuit board cracks and broken solder joints are suspect as well.

Serial number, where is it located?

Some Marshall serial numbers might tell you the year your 3005 was made, Marshall stamped the different years of the micro's in different spots, your number could either be on the back metal plate stamped right above the AC power cable port, or barely visible on the front gold plate above the power switch just under the Tolex, at least that's where my 1988 3005's serial number is stamped. But it should have one on it somewhere, could even be inside the head too, my sis plays and has an old 1977 50watt tube head with an interior serial number. I've been a huge fan of the Micro stacks since they came out in the mid-80's. I believe the 3005's were only produced from 1985 or so till around 1988 or 89 in Black, White, Red, Orange, Blue, Purple, and Grey, a Camo Tolex was a custom option as far as I remember. 1987 was Marshall's Silver 25th Anniversary, so a Silver Tolex Jubilee edition was made that year only. Than the newer MG15-II's were made from around 2004 till 2010 along with the Zakk Wylde signature series micro stack,. And now they make the newer MGD's since 2010, I just tried one last week at my local guitar shop, I liked it a lot, it's very different sounding than my old 1988 or my 2009 micro's and has a few built in effects which weren't great, but not that bad at all, I have a 1988 3005 stack that came with Celestion G-10's in the cabs and an MG15-II series micro stacks, that one came with some no name 10's, but believe it or not they sound better than the G-10's! Mine are all in black, I have been after an original micro stack in white for many years.Did your old 1x10 cabs come with Celestions too?

Does anyone know how i should hook up a pair of peavey sp118 Bxsubs with a pair of peavey pr15 tops and the behringer inuke nu6000 please help

You will require 4 heavy gauge 1/4" speaker cables in order to connect all 4 cabinets to the Behringer power amp. Usually two longer ones from the power amp to the sub woofer cabs. Then two short ones from the second "thru" jack to the upper 15" cabs. Remember the entire audio frequency range is going to all four speakers. Sometimes you will have problems balancing the low frequency levels between all four cabs depending on the loading of each. A more desirable way to do this is with a bi-amped arrangement. This way two seprate amps are used for the subs and 15" cabs and you control them independantly.

Can I connect only one speaker to a yamaha emx 312 sc power mixer?

First it is certain that you would not want to plug both outputs of the stereo power amp into one speaker combining both channels into the same speaker. (see image from manual below - also link to manual)

Next I would be very concerned about only using the one side of the main amp out as it could cause an unbalanced load, or you could be driving the load into dead air connection and any of these conditions are destined to cause premature failure of the power amp.

Taking a quick scan of the manual for this unit, it appears what is pretty common to most powered mixers, hook up two matched speakers/loads to each chanel of the output.

Your best bet is to shed those monster cabs, there really is no need for them especially with this sized powered mixer, and get yourself a nice pair of full range cabs like EV1202;s, EV SX300's, or some nice 2 or 3 way 15" JBL's/

Just my opinon.

Where is the serial number on a crate amplifier

Real basic owners manual is here:
http://www.crateamps.com/pdf/manuals/CA6110DG_OM.pdf

Look at the chassis, or pull a part number off the original speaker to match speaker and back cross reference to the amp versions that used it. The OM is at least good enough with the block diagram to allow it to be serviced easily enough.

My 200hd head is not putting out the full 200 watts i have a behringer 8x10 cab and before this head used to power this cab fine now even with the volume cranked you cant even feel the bass i have...

I am not sure how you are measuring the power output to verify it is less than 200 watts. With a true RMS voltmeter you should see 28.28 volts RMS across a net speaker load of 4 ohms. If you use only one 8 ohm speaker, you will get 120 watts. If you are getting the 28 volts there is nothing wrong with the amp. You MAY have blown the speakers OR not generating much bass due to processing in an EQ. I assume you are using at least 15 inch speakers if you want to feel bass. Look up your speakers specs... you will need speakers capable of 32 Hz to feel much. With this amp your speakers should have aa total rating not less than 400 to 600 peak watts or around 300 watts RMS continuous power rating. Using a lot of high end EQ will keep the amp busy at the high end and reduce the power available at the bass end.

I want to know how to wire a speaker

Weather of not you can use this speaker as an extension cab depends on a number of things. First, what amp are you planning you use for it? What is the minimum resistance for this amp (2ohm or 4 ohm probably). Second, what is the primary cab you are using ans what is the resistance on that? (2ohm, 4ohm or 8ohm).

Is there just one speaker in you proposed extension cab? The goal is to have all the speakers wired in parallel without lowering the resistance to a point that will damage the head. So if your amps minimum resistance is 4ohm then your cabs will have to both be 8ohm, running in parallel the overall resistance will be 4ohm.
