Question about Motorola Mobility Moto Q
My problem is that i will delete my text messages and i will empty the deleted folder and when i turn my phone off and turn it back on they appear back in the folder that is was in before it got deleted..can somebody please tell me how to fix this becuase i have like probably over 10,000 text messages in my inbox because when i delete them they come back..and it is using up my memory and when my memory gets to low it wont let me send or recieve text messages
Should also just be able to select Menu->Folders, get on the folder you want cleared, click Menu->Delete All. If you don't have items in that folder you will see Delete All but you won't be able to select it.

If you go into your text messages then select menu->Folders. Hightlight your inbox and press menu which will then have a delete all email messages option.

I had the exact same problem. i basically updated my phone's software (this is for verizon wireless users) by dialing *228, press option 1 to update the software. after that, i was able to delete the messages in the folders like normal.
