SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: Replacement part for snorkel attachment

its a plastic clip if i am correct. i have in the past used a rubber band, but you could go to a local dive shop, they normally have the rubber replacements for snorkels.

What's your problem?Have a TOYOTA EZT9000 and it seems to have slowed quite a bit. Does it need oil? If so, where do I put it in?

there are other things that can cause the machine to slow down
like the motor, foot pedal, have you checked these things first
1. is the power cord plugged into the outlet securely
2. is the power cord plugged into the machine correctly
3. is the foot pedal plugged into the machine correctly
4. is the cord to the foot pedal caught in the foot pedal
if none of these are the problem, then the machine needs to be serviced
to see why it's running slow

My juki serger mo-634de suddenly stopped working. Lights on, wheels and parts move freely, even stitching seems to work if I turn it manually, but nothing happens when I push the pedal. No sound. ...

Hi, I have the exact same machine. it sounds like the wire from the foot pedal to the machine is broken. You would still get power from the wall to the machine to light the light, but no 'gas pedal'. You could maybe get an electrian to test the connection under the foot pedal and if the wire is damaged? or maybe the part that plugs in the machine is cracked or damaged?
Good luck! Annette

Can I use an American foot pedal on my Australian/European machine? Thanks

Probably not as the US one would be wired for 110 but Australian voltage is 240. And the foot pedal and power cable are usually all wired together as one unit.

I presume that your machine is a 240voltage machine? You'd need to order an appropriate foot control for it from the local distributor for your machine. Sometimes you can buy generic pedals too but the plug needs to match your machine.

Foot Pedal does not work

You could order on-line - http://www.sewingmachinesplus.com/foot-control-pedal-XC6651121.php

Call your "local" Brother dealer and ask for a price.

Then compair that and the cost of a round-trip (or maybe they would mail it to you) with the price and cost for S&H at the above site.

Taking the machine in for service is something that should be done on a regular basis and the cost starts at about $70 plus parts.

If you decide to take the machine in for service, explain to the dealer that you live far away and could they service the machine while you wait. Make sure they know what the problem is and also ask if the power pedal needs replaced, will they have to order it.
