Your driver for that borad are available at gigabytes' site , i have downloaded them to my computer, so the link IS valid: http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/Motherboard/Driver_Model.aspx?ProductID=1939&ost=xp#anchor_os
scroll down to where it says CHIPSET/LAN/SATA RAID and download to your desktop. This driver comes in a set of drivers for your motherboard chipset and HAS to be installed as part of that package.
If you have no connection due to your network card issues you will have to download them to another computer, copy them to a flash drive or cd and copy the driver file to the computer in question.
Save them to the desktop so that you can find them. when you start the install, it should prompt you through installing and ask you to restart afterwards. you can check a network card install by clicking START-SETTINGS-CONTROL PANEL , select system, click the hardware tab at the top, then click the device manager button and scroll down to the network adaptors section. If there is a yellow question or exclamation mark by anything listed there , the drivers are corrupt, not installed or installed improperly.
please post again here if you need more help.
Regards..
