Desktop hang when D Drive open and PC hang

Use the Antiviurs+AntiMalware, very important, you can have some Virus, or Malware.
However RUN the utility when you open the D drive, click properties, and use the tab tools, and RUnt the scanner disk, and fix it.

Install floppy drive


open unit, find slot where drive goes, mount it and secure it, run ide cable from drive to main board, find power cable hanging from power supply

Bios hanging


Hello, your hard drive was not detective that's why in the first boot it's hanging. Try to check everything and reset your CMOS.

When USB connected Computer hangs


there maybe virus in your usb drive . or the connection may be loose

do this.connect the device in usb port . Go in Start>Run type cmd
one black color window will open
type format (the name of your usb drive)
eg : format f:

Wont read any burnt dvd just hangs for a bit then nothing i open the cd drive to see if there are any files but there is nothing any ideas?


It could be a faulty hardware. It seems that you communicate to the Optical Drive but the optical drive just does not process the information given.

open your cpu and clean all dust from it.reattch all power connection and harddisk connection .also clean dust form RAM and refix it.

Intel Dual Core 2.0 GHz Sytem hangs after boot


During your boot screen press the F8 key to boot into safe mode. If that gets you to the desktop run virus/spyware scans. Reply with any results.

I have a emachine w5243 tower the expansion drive won't open.push botton but still know


the expansion drive will open if you can hang a fingernail or something thin in the top of the door and pull. It only takes a gentle pull.
