There's an adapter cable required to go from the Mac's external monitor connector to a standard VGA plug. You can see what it looks like here at the Apple Store site. Once you have the adapter you can use a plain old monitor cable with VGA plugs at both ends to connect your Flatron.

I used the autoset feature and it increased the width of display. Now I cant find anything to decrese the width. The menu of the monitor has nothing for this. I have LG1732S.
