Question about Televison & Video
I have a sanyo tv model #dp42746 the power light come on but nothing happen with the screen I haave check the cable hook ups and had the cable provider check the box and the signal is strong so what is wrong with my tv?
The power light merely indicates power is being applied to the TV. You may have had a failure of a fuse or the internal power supply

How long have you owned the tv? You have two options though your best bet is to locate your nearest authorized service center to have the tv repaired.

You have a power supply problem.
The microprocessor has its own supply and is not receiving a "hand shake" from the line output stage that in turn is not receiving and power from the power supply.
The chopper transistor will possibly be short circuit taking the feed resistor with it.
Check for dry joints everywhere and MAKE CERTAIN THE HT CAPACITOR HAS DISCHARGED!!!!!
