SOURCE: HAVE A GE REFRIGERATOR TYPE TFX25CR THAT LEAKES WATER FROM TIME TO TIME, ABOUT 5 OZ

The evaperator for the drip under the bottom of the unit is probably dirty or has gone bad. Pull the fridge out and look under the bottom and you should see a pan with a coil above it. Clean the coil and the pan. If this does not correct the problem, then a new coil is in order. Also vacuum the back of the fridg if it has exposed coils to increase efficiency.

2011 Explorer water leak driver floor

The only water leaks I know that appear inside a vehicle is normally from a bad heater core, but that normally leaks onto the floor of the passenger side. I would check your heater core regarding this problem.

Water leak in floor

when you said water leak in floor do you mean the floor mat or the outside floor? if it is in the car check whether the radiator coolant level is getting low,or if it is not coolant see whether it is air conditioning drainer and the hose went off and the water gets on the carpet. If it is coolant check the matrix if is leaking.

Is there a water filter for the TFX25cr? If so, where? And which kind/type?

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly
It took a while to find the answer to your question... A lot of manual and site searches were required.
There are 24 models ot the TFX25CR (last digits missing) I will use this model number: TFX25ZRBWW
You can download and owners manual here by entering your model number: http://www.geappliances.com/service_and_support/literature/
If you just enter TFX25CR you will see several manuals

I checked several parts sites and GE. This unit from what I can tell does NOT have a water filter. You can however install an external in line filter such as this one:
http://www.amazon.com/Refrigerator-Maker-Filter-Activated-Carbon/dp/B000AM54MW

These filters often do not come with connecting hardware that has to be purchased separately.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

2002 suburban has leak in driver side rear floor. Cannot see where water would be coming from?

We had same--water on driver side rear floor (soaked!). Driver side front floor seemed dry until feeling UNDER rug, was slightly damp. We found the location of TWO leaks causing this.

Leak #1 was through the parking brake line/cable seal; Recaulked with silicone. Removed plastic trim on floor between floor and door to reveal metal channel filled with water.

Leak #2 was where the door meets the car, near the hinge. It was the accordian-looking tube housing the wiring for the door. The big, rubber, circular plug connecting it to the main part of the car had come loose and water ran down through that, into the SAME metal channel filled with water from leak #1; will seal with silicone.

Note: We found that the channel filled extensively near the front door, BUT the carpet edge from the floor near the rear seat was dipping into it, wicking it up to the rear floor. Also, upon acceleration, the water in the channel gushed toward the back, thus soaking the rear carpet.

These leaks were found by removing all plastic trim (covering edges of carpet by doors), then one of us pouring water into specific areas of the exterior of the vehicle, and the other one watching closely with a flashlight for any signs of dripping.

2006 mustang water leaking rear floor

Hi , Its leaking water on the passenger rear floor? It could be the heater core leaking and running down the floor board to the rear of the vehical. Do you smell antifreez or see moisture build up on the windshield ? does the car seem more "humid" inside?
