Dr is displayed and will clear. oven or cooktop notworking

Error code DR can refer to a door lock malfunction. Try resetting by turning off the power to the oven for at least 5 minutes. Power back up, if the error code continues you may have a faulty door latch, or light switch, or in worst case Electronic control unit.

Frigidaire stuck in DR mode

Good Morning ShawnR, thank you for your post!

An error code DR commonly refers to a door lock malfunction. I understand you have reprogrammed the range by unplugging it. It is important to wait approximately ten minutes and then turn your range back on. Typically, this will clear most false error codes. If the error code continues to display, your range could possibly have a faulty door latch, light switch or EOC (electronic oven control). I am fairly confident that an authorized service agent will be able to restore your appliance to its normal operating condition. You can often locate a qualified service technician on the manufacturer website.

Thanks for allowing me the opportunity to assist you!

Oven will not work.

This is what GE recommends for your oven:

“F—and a number or On models with a door latch, • The latch may have been moved, even if only slightly,
letter” flash in the display if a function error code appears from the locked position. Make sure the latch is moved
during the self-cleaning cycle, to the right as far as it will go.
check the oven door latch.
You have a function error code. • Touch the Clear/Off pad. Allow the oven to cool for
one hour. Put the oven back into operation.
If the function code repeats. • Disconnect all power to the range for 5 minutes
and then reconnect power. If the function error
code repeats, call for service.

My range top is showing me E codes and I cannot get it to turn off

Range/Stove/Oven Fault Codes starting with an E

If an error code appears in the cook mode window
Your oven is equipped with an extremely reliable and accurate electronic control. On the rare occasion that something occurs that causes a malfunction, an error message will appear in the oven selector window.

Some errors (E1, E9, E11, E12, and E13) must be cleared by turning off the oven at the circuit breaker and then turning it back on. When an error remains displayed steadily in the off position, after attempting to clear the error, a service call is required.

How to set the oven timer?

To Program Oven for a Delayed Start Time and to Shut-Off Automatically 1. Be sure that the clock shows the correct time of day. 2. Place the food in the oven. 3. Push "Bake Time". "00:00" and the words "BAKE TIME" will glow in the display window. 4. Push and hold up or down arrows until the desired baking time appears in the display. 5. "loc" display

This just happened to me. I have whirlpool double oven accubake. The display went blank and i had to turn the breaker off. I left it off for several hours. When I turned the breaker back on my oven display read "Loc" in big letters to the right of the time. I held the start button down for 5 secs. The display went away and the oven started to work as if nothing had happened. I hope that is stays that way.
